Days Of Our Lives Alum Austin Peck Lands Role On Chicago Fire
Days of Our Lives alum Austin Peck has landed a role on NBC’s Chicago Fire.
The actor will soon be pulling double duty. No, he is not headed back to DOOL, but he is appearing on the Days of Our Lives web series, Chad and Abby in Paris. Peck has been having a blast reprising the role of Austin Reed. Fans have been loving his interaction with Chad and Abby on the web series.

Peck is trading in sometime in Paris for a Chicago. He has booked a recurring role on the NBC show that follows the crew of Firehouse 51. The actor recently spoke to Soap Opera Digest regarding his latest gig, which is a recurring role.
“He’s a very interesting character. His name is Chad. He’s a character that brings some levity to a very intensely driven show. The crew and the cast couldn’t be better. It’s been a really wonderful experience. I’m getting to play a lot and spend some time in Chicago,” he shared.
Even though he is thrilled to be part of the One Chicago world, Peck is keeping details of the new role quiet. He shared that DOOL fans can expect to see him thrown into the mix when Season 8 debuts on September 25th. Peck has not indicated how long he will appear on Chicago Fire.
The hunky soap stud is not ditching Chad and Abby in Paris for primetime. Peck plans on sticking around as long as the web series want him.
“I don’t think the character of Austin has ever been fully explored. I think in the beginning, they established him in a very good way and then all of a sudden, for a while, he was kind of put into a very small room and not allowed to do very much. Working with Billy Flynn, Chad, and Kate Mansi, Abby, I felt like I got to explore a little bit more of Austin and what was more possible as far as just his take on things and maybe sense of humor and even his selfishness. That was really fun,” Peck stated to Soap Opera Digest.
It is an exciting time for Peck, who is also known for playing Brad Snyder on As The World Turns. The CBS soap opera is also where he met his current wife, Terri Conn
